The Avenue
The Avenue development, completed in 2015, comprises 4 modern, well finished highrises in the heart of Wanchai between Queen's Road East and Johnston Road. They were built upon the demolition of the original 'Wedding Card Street'. Phase 1 was block 5 which is in Tai Yuen Street. It is 23 storeys containing 179 apartments, 8 on the regular floors with 3 larger penthouses at the top. The regular apartments vary from 440-658 sf saleable. Blocks 1,2&3 are in the pedestrianized Lee Tung Street with all its shops, cafes and restaurants. Block 1 is 28 storeys with 246 apartments, 9 on most floors. Both blocks 2&3 are 37 storeys but block 2 has 15 apartments on regular floors (511 units) and block 3 has 10 units on regular floors (340 units). They all have large penthouse apartments at the top. The sizes of the regular apartments vary from 329-1147 sf saleable. The interiors are finished to a high standard and they all have balconies. Some have open plan kitchens. They are all a short walk to the Wanchai MTR.
